It's just odd to think of where Kurt Cobain would be today if he'd not died. Whether or not you believe he committed suicide or was murdered (I kinda believe the latter), it's a tragedy.
Personally, I feel that Cobain influenced a whole generation. People like me, who grew up influenced by his style, his music, and his messages. Nirvana was our Beetles, and Kurt Cobain was our John Lennon.
It's sad, still, really. We know of the emotional suffering, the depression, which seemed to plague Kurt Cobain. And his venting, even today, still reaches so many and makes people feel just a little better by relating their same problems. And it seems like true emotional songs are lacking these days. You could hear the pain in his voice, as well as the anger, and the happiness.
I miss those days, and I wish Nirvana and Kurt Cobain were still around today, to show what real music is.
